Terms of Service
Last updated: Oct 3, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and us for using Vendly. By creating an account, you agree to them. Please read them; they are written to be short and plain.
1. Who we are
Vendly is run by [OPERATOR NAME], based in Lebanon ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
"You" means the business that signs up, and the person who creates the account on its behalf.
2. The service
Vendly is an online point of sale for shops and cafés: sales, stock, customer debts, expenses and reports, in dollars and lira.
The service is in beta. Features may be added, changed or removed as we improve it. We will tell you ahead of time about any change that removes something you rely on.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old and sign up for a real business.
The owner of the account is responsible for everything done under it, including by staff accounts the owner creates. Keep passwords secret, and deactivate a staff account as soon as that person should no longer have access.
Tell us straight away if you think someone has got into your account.
4. Price and payment
A new business pays $1 for its first month. After that, the price is $9 per month.
During the beta, we collect payment by hand and will tell you how to pay.
You can cancel at any time. Your subscription then stops at the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund part of a month.
We may change the price. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you.
If a payment is late, we may limit your account after a reminder (see section 10).
5. Your data
Everything you enter (products, sales, customers, debts and so on) belongs to you. We use it only to run the service for you. We never sell it and never use it for advertising.
You can ask for a full copy of your data at any time by emailing [CONTACT EMAIL].
You are responsible for having the right to store your own customers' details, such as their names and phone numbers, and for using them fairly. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle that data on your behalf.
6. Your responsibilities
Taxes, VAT, official invoices and any receipts required by law are your responsibility.
Vendly is a tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice. Check the figures you rely on, such as the exchange rate you set, prices, stock counts and debt balances.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to sell or record anything illegal, to break the law, or to harm others.
Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, or access another business's data.
Do not resell or share access to the service outside your own business.
8. Availability
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but during the beta we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
The service is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those the law requires.
9. Limits of our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or other indirect losses.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the problem happened.
10. Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend your account if you do not pay after a reminder, or if you break these terms. Where we can, we will warn you first and give you time to fix it.
You can close your account at any time by emailing us.
After an account is closed, your data stays available for 30 days so you can ask for a copy. We then delete it. Copies in our backups are deleted within a further 90 days.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a significant change, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
If you keep using the service after a change applies, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon.
We will always try to settle a disagreement with you directly first. If we cannot, the courts of Beirut will decide.
